           Oslo

Here we are in Norway now. The tour is coming to an end soon - only one show left after this one.
I'm not the only one taking pictures.

This arena calls for some cozy truck parking underneath.

Most nights of the tour, I've been able to get decent photos of the 'local crew'... the people who are hired to be part of the show just for the night. (Probably hired before they are told what they'll be wearing!)

It's fun to see their enthusiasm once they get into costumes -- it must be unlike any other show where you're hired just to help out for the night.

Of course our guys, who are here every night, enjoy themselves too.

We're going to miss each other - it's been a lot of fun

Happily, I'll be touring again with Michele, my bass tech, in the Fall, (with King Crimon,) and Peter will start up touring again in November. So it isn't goodbye forever!

(A little Jennie section of pics)

Let me mention how impressed I've been, even after all these years together, with Peter's efforts in the show.

In the last six shows he's learned to pronounce the show introduction in a different language each night - and those were Czech, Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian - not the simplest to pronounce. I am sure he got some of the words wrong, but each night has required a lot of study before showtime, and it's heartwarming to see how the audiences do appreciate it.

After the show, a magical view from our hotel. Quite a special stay here in Oslo

Now we travel to Berlin for the last show.

There's always this issue with the web diary of the final show on a tour: with travel home and lots of different things to deal with, it takes longer to edit the photos, compile them and get them up online.

So it may be a few days until the Berlin diary gets done -- but hopefully not too long.
