March 11 - Travelling to Rosario:
Not so early this morning, because it's only about 4 hours to drive from Buenos Aires to
Rosario, for our show tonight.
Finally got a photo with Richard, who's been driving us everywhere in Argentina.
The venue, a club in a mall, has some kind of railroad museum behind it -- nice for wandering around after
soundcheck
And, before long, it's time to go onstage...
After the show, we signed cd's and/or said hello to a lot of the audience. Very nice to have some personal contact with the people
in all the places we've gone.
March 12 - Back to Buenos Aires for another show:
We know the drive now, so no surpises for us on the trip back to Buenos Aires.
Tonight's show was the first one booked for our LatinAmerica tour, so it's special in that it's for the people who most wanted to get
tickets to see us. It's also unusual in that there is another show in the same theater, at 9pm -- so we'll start, in theory, at 11pm.
And that means we can't really soundcheck until the show before has ended.
So we set up in the afternoon, but then dragged our equipment to the back of the stage, ready to re-set as quickly as possible.
And here we are, at 10:45pm (!) just pulling the equipment to the front of the stage.
Hmm... must have been a comedy show... there is some kind of spaghetti (uncooked) all over the stage
Well, we got set up really quickly, but with letting the audience in to be seated, we had some time to pass backstage...
and, finally, at midight, time to hit the stage!
So we've finished our 5 concerts in Argentina -- all wonderful.
Tomorrow (early!) we'll head for Venezuela, and the final show of our tour.
