(The Rome show pictures have now been added to the previous page.)
Florence - birthplace of the Renaissance, home of the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, Michaelangelo's David... it's surely one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
But Rock 'n Roll Reality has a different experience in store for us today... early morning, our tour bus arrives in the suburbs, where we'll spend the day at a heavy rock club, nowhere near the center.
In fact, far from choosing which museum to visit, we're concerned with things like only one shower for the 13 of us.
And a lot of re-configuring our clothes and gear for tomorrow, when we'll move from the bus and gear van, to flying with all our things.
A good day to park ourselves in the club office to get online...
and the bus seems wonderfully uncluttered
We'll be saying goodbye after tonight to some of our wonderful crew... Andrea and Stefano...
Time to go onstage
The show was great. Showers and nice dining rooms are nice, but in fact, the band sounds better in clubs than the theaters we're often in. And the audience was wonderful.
A really nice show to end up the Italian leg of the tour, to end the section with the bus and crew, and we're looking forward to coming back, in July, to play here again.
Tomorrow we fly to Riga, Latvia, for the last show of this tour.
More soon.
