Much awaited tour of Japan with my old friends, and musical cohorts, in the band L'Image.
First show will be tonight, at the Tokyo Jazz Festival, but as always here in Japan there is a lot to look at and photograph, so I've got a few
pictures from rehearsal day and night here in Tokyo.
The band, for those who didn't see the web pages of last February's shows, is: Mike Mainieri, Warren Bernhardt, David Spinozza, Steve Gadd and myself.
Steve and I moved to Woodstock in about 1976 to join L'Image, and ... well it took awhile to get that first album done! We began and finished it last
Fall, and released it just this year.

The usual story about photos at the show: it was our first, and I had a lot to concentrate on other than focussing and exposure(!) so I got less good
shots than usual.
