We got in for today's soundcheck earier than we will on the rest of the tour, having been rehearsing in the same venue, here in Herning, Denmark.
The production experts did 3D renderings of our heads... they do it to project some tricky statue-looking graphics of us each onto the stage screen during the show.
But they've also come up with a 3D printer, and
gave us each a small reproduction of ourselves. Here's mine (which they kindly drew a moustache on.)
Kind of fun to have around -- I'll try to think of a good use of it back home - maybe pick dispenser? Hollow it out for an espresso cup?
(But better try to keep it away from the dogs... it does resemble a dog treat!)
We're doing a new song of Peter's for the first time tonight, called "Why Don't You Show Yourself". I wrote a chart to have handy in case it takes me a few shows to really know it.
