August 22, England
On Aug. 16th we began rehearsing again, at a nice theater facility in England.
Really, taking up where we left off rehearsing last month - but this time it'll go right up until our first show, in Aylesbury on the 30th.
For those who don't know it, we toured last year, but only in the U.S. This time it'll be the UK, and a show in Paris and in Netherlands, then on to Canada and Japan.
In addition to the material we performed in last year's tour, we're rehearsing a few classic repertoire pieces:
Easy Money and In the Court of the Crimson King.
And we have a few new pieces that are coming together really well. Going to be an exciting tour.
Not much else to report at this point, except for having more pictures of the guys rehearsing!
very cool matching bass drum heads on this tour...
My camera has a feature that makes pictures painting-like. I thought I'd use it to shoot the new bass drum head, and my fabulous Fernet funk finger holder...
but ended up shooting the band quite a bit with the effect...
Okay, got that out of my system!
More coming up... I'll continue to shoot something or other at the rehearsals, but things will get more interesting when we start the tour, August 31st.
