Another train ride today, with the usual band antics in the station...
Fukuoka is a beautiful city - and we're lucky to be staying right in the center, next to one of the canals, with bridges going in all directions - and to
boot, we have the day off here.
The most pleasant band meeting ever...
Evening by the time I got out to shoot some photos.
And, something really special here for Steve and me: Mike Holmes, our school mate from way back, and founder of our first group together, has moved to Japan, lives
nearby, and was here to hang out for the two days in Fukuoka.
Here we are, Mike Holmes & the Rhythm Boys(!)
A nice dinner with everybody...
Some interesting sights on the way back to hotel... (I'm told these singers in traditional dress were singing very off color
lyrics, in a quite untraditional way.)
and then it's show day.
I understand David's stepdad Joe is dropping by the site to keep tabs on what the tour is like. Hi Mr. Germani!
Here are a few more shots of things that caught my attention as I wandered around:
Well, don't know what that last one was about, but ... on to the next page - shots of our last two shows, in Osaka and Fukui.
