Back in London, where we started this tour with rehearsals, only a few weeks ago.

Fourteen shows and eighteen web pages later, maybe it's time to take a short pause from the photos.

(A reminder, I've made an index of these tour pages, to make it easier to find a specific show.)

The next two shows, at the O2 Arena in London, are being filmed - it's for some kind of future release, but I don't know any details about that. What I am aware of is that the filming is in a super hi def format that we're told hasn't been used in a music show yet - so it should be pretty special.

They're filming soundchecks too (in full concert clothes, maybe for intercutting with the night's show). Hence our days here will be pretty full.

The tour has been going great, and my wife Andi has come to England for this last week of the tour, so I'm a happy guy in many ways!

The venue we are playing at is pretty special... more on that when we reach it... but of interest; today we're travelling to the show by boat!

First, a short car ride to the Thames River...

and our route takes us through the city center... great views from the water...

Yes, here in England, 'Big Ben' refers to other than the Pittsburgh team's quarterback!

Here's the venue... well, sort of. This is the Millenium Dome (so named because it was built for the year 2000 celebration) and it's so large that they later constructed an arena inside it - the O2 Arena that our concerts will be in.

The structure itself, supported by wires on the outside, is pretty amazing.

Lots of other unique buildings around... and this tall artwork... (the cable cars high above it come from the other side of the river... maybe tomorrow we should plan to arrive that way!)

The arena...

Soundcheck... doing a serious filming of the show means film people all over the stage

Backstage, David's sons are here for the show... the Rhodes family

and our wonderful road manager, Dave, popped in...

well... you had to be there!

All are getting into their 'boiler suits' for the show...

Levon Minassian will be opening the show with a duduk solo again tonight, as he did in Paris.

Here we go for the show... I took less photos than usual because of the filming

Tomorrow will be another show in the same venue, also filmed, and I'll have some more photos of the show to add to the page then.

More soon.
