Bit of a drive, from Milwaukee, through the busy Chicago corridor, through Indiana into Ohio for today's show - it's labelled on our itinerary as 'Cincinnatti' but really, across the river, in Newport, KY.

Plenty of coffee pit stops on this tour ... thrills galore!

Nice venue - old house with, it seems, a few shows going on simultaneously each night.

Not many photos from tonight -- we are getting quite precise in our van packing, though, and in the morning I grabbed a shot of that before leaving for Pittsburgh...

Pittsburgh... after a rainy drive, but not as long as the others this week, a first... got right to the venue without getting lost, or being in the wrong lane on a bridge - thereby finding oneself crossing another bridge, thereby messed up again in Pittsburgh... as I said, right to the venue without mishap - a first in all my times here!

And what a venue it is. New Hazlett Theater is the name, but it's old... the original Carnegie Hall, build by Andrew Carnegie as a venue, then a library, now partially a venue again

I'm still trying to find a good photo use of this mask I sing through...

(Haven't found it yet! - and it's not sounding great either!!)

Well, for once I got a lot of photos before the show.
And some of the audience just before starting.

May 20, Friday - we drive from Pittsburgh to Washington DC (some major traffic to navigate in that hub!) and our show tonight at JAXX club in northern VA.

Ahh, Jaxx ... nothing quite like pulling into the suburban plaza to see this marquee, nestled next to the Afghan Kebab restaurant.

As usual here, no mention outside that we, or anyone else is playing tonight...
Here's the back, where we load in...

Aftershow, though late at night, we signed some cd's, then packed the van and drove on to Annapolis, where we're playing tomorrow.

Made for a very long day, but saved us looking at that Washington DC traffic in the morning, and will give us something we can barely remember having: a morning to sleep in at the hotel!

Yay! More on next tour page.
