Welcome, from Tony Levin, to Papa Bear Records.
I started the company years ago, as a vehicle to release some projects of mine which might be awkward to present to regular
record labels. (Ever try walking into a record label with a record from a cave, with Stick, drums and bansuri flute music?!!)
Through the years our catalog has grown to include quite a few of my recordings, books, art, posters... and, for fun, some PapaBear t-shirts and berets.
People have discovered the site, it's trustworthiness, and it's quick service, so e-visits have grown considerably since the early years. The focus here is still on quality music,
with artist involvement in the artwork and packaging, presented with personal service and reliable delivery by mail.
I deeply appreciate the support of those who've been getting this music. The feedback has been great, and it seems that many music lovers appreciate the
releases almost as much as I enjoy making them.
