A few months ago we in The Crimson ProjeKCt did a Spring tour I called Coffee in Kiev. Alas, since then, I've had three Kiev shows cancelled, each time having had high hopes they might happen.
So I'd better find a better name for this tour leg.
Well, I'll start off flying from NY to New Zealand and Australia, then continuing westward to Europe for the shows there, and when I return home in August I'll have made it all the way around the
planet... so let's call it Thraaking Round the World.
June 23, Auckland, New Zealand
It's my first trip back to New Zealand since playing the Tarnaki Guitar Festival a few years ago.
Auckland is quite different than that small city, of course.
One advantage of flight arriving at 5am; you might get to see sunrise from your hotel room.
I only walked around a little, but couldn't miss that there are some great looking trees in downtown Auckland.
The club we're playing is called the Studio
And, just as at the start of the Spring tour, Robert, our sound engineer, is on the phone to Daniel, Adrian's tech, trying to get the guitar rig going!

And, as usual, the best thing about the show was the audience.
Next, we fly to Melbourne, for our first show in Australia.
