It's been pointed out to me that my calling this the 'Summer 2014' tour isn't accurate, since it's Winter here in the Southern Hemisphere.
So, I've changed the above description to "WintSummer"!
Here in Melbourne, it's not very cold - really quite nice. I started the day with a little visit to the local bass/guitar shop, and met some nice bass players.
And it was pointed out to me that I visited the same store 20 years ago!
A few black swans crossed the road on our drive back...
and before soundcheck, I found a store selling these old fashioned things you might not recognize;
They're called books, and the pages are actually made of paper... you can swipe the page all day and it won't go to the next page... you have to actually grasp it and turn it! (Many of us old folks still remember how.)
Anyway, soundcheck: that sign is not ours, must be from a previous band.
my pedal situation is a bit of a mess...

Typical of early shows in a tour - I didn't get many photos (trying to play my parts right, and haven't learned yet the pauses long enough to focus the camera!)
