The Children in Need show in Merthr Tydfil, Wales
This was an outdoor show - soundcheck in the morning was cold.
Lots to see....
As the many other bands at the benefit show rehearsed, we hung around, doing our best to keep warm.
It was so good to have the band back together for more shows, and up to the usual shenanigans.
We sang a chorus of Mercy Street just before going on, as a vocal warmup, and maybe to warm ourselves up.
And the show, about half the length of Peter's normal ones, was a good one. I didn't get many pictures this time - fingers
barely thawed, needed both hands for playing - no one-hand-playing while snapping photos this time!
I imagine there will be quite a temperature difference at the outdoor show we'll be doing in a week, in the South African Springtime.
