The last show of this tour - it's hard to choose the best place for that, but I guess this was pretty appropriate - not only a lovely square in center of town, but there was a ramp built out from the stage into the audience, which gave Peter a chance to get much more out in the people than the usual stage format.

Early in the evening I noticed what seemed to be the crew in their orange outfits, congregated near the stage.

Not their usual place, and too early, of course, for them to want to put on their show costumes. Quickly it became apparant, as the rest of the area filled in, that some people had the same orange outfits, and that they were the ones inside the runway, closest to the stage.

Peter began with Flood

and found lots of opportunities to get out onto the runway.

The crew, when thanked in Peter's usual introductions, came out on stage for a well-deserved bow (some on Segues.)

During Games of course Peter and Anna ventured back out onto the runway. But it was also notable because a lot of the people near the stage had cards with names of the "characters" in the song. This trend had started back during the stage tour in May - but it certainly reached it's climax tonight.
Sorry these aren't clear enough to read the names on the cards - there are far more of them than there are names in the song itself!

At the final bows, Peter invited all the crew to come out again and share the spotlight.

This thoughtful sign may be hard to read in it's small size here - it says something to the effect of "Come back soon Peter, we miss you already"

What better way could there be to end the tour pages. There have been 18 web pages of the festival shows and 45 pages of this tour that began last May.

Like the audience, I, and all the band, will greatly miss Peter and touring with him.
