We took our day off after Woodstock to drive to Montreal (so as to be sure to clear immigration without being late for
the soundcheck!)
Yay... good to be back here in Montreal. All of Quebec is a great home for progressive rock, and it's always fun to know the audience will be open
to some challenging music (and we have a lot!!)
Typical start of tour situation for me -- not much time to take photos until I really learn the set and where the pauses might come!
Up early and big drive to Toronto.
Whee, it's Lee's Palace! Been there before -- knew to park in the tiny alley behind the club... but now that alley's closed (just as well,
we used to have to pull in the van mirrors to get in there) -- so park right out front.
Very nice band opened for us -- with the not-so-easy name, Druckfarben!
In our set, a couple of blurred shots of Michael was about all I could get.
I'm starting to shoot all of our setlists -- reason is; so we can include it with the download package, at
aftershowmusic.com, where
we're putting all our shows up for downloads.
Since I've got the shot, might as will put it here too!
Okay, tomw morning up early, for another border crossing, and show in Detroit.
(note: our board tape of the Toronto show can be downloaded at
aftershowmusic.com.)
