April 20th - our first 'day off', after 14 shows in a row.
There is a bit of a drive, though, to Vienna, where our next show will be.
Estimated at 8 hours, it took us eleven, so it was not a memorable 'day off' at all!
Vienna is a beautiful city, to be sure. But we were staying in a new section, not near the center.
Quite notable architecture, though. All the buildings around the huge former gas silos (our gig venue is in one of them) seem designed
to confuse the eye!
And at nightfall it looked even stranger -- even looking out from the garage of the venue.
Morning, April 22nd - a quick photo in another hotel reflective wall, and we're off driving to Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Here at the club, it's a bit of a squeeze onstage!
and, that's not John Travolta dancing across the floor, it's Pat, turning as he walks to the stage...
Got some nice audience shots tonight.
Signing some things after the show, I saw one I'd certainly never seen before...
and afterward, a little shared time with some guys from the Scorpions, who were at the same hotel as us.
(It could be that the photographer had a slivovitz too many!)
